Danie Shokoohi is a Paris-based writer and 2020 graduate of the UW-Madison MFA. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in The Puritan, Glass: a Journal of Poetry, the American Journal of Poetry, New Ohio Review, Lake Effect, the Mississippi Review, the Cincinnati Review, and others. For eight years, Danie was the Managing Editor at Half Mystic Press, which made her fall in love with the intersection of music, literature, and visual arts. She is a devoted listener of pod-dramas, an avid tarot reader, and the queen of making too many playlists. Her debut novel, Glass Girls, is out now.
